Leger Holidays demonstrates travel technology expertise

Michaels Rhodes, e-commerce manager at Leger Holidays, has been invited to speak at the Travel Technology Show on 6th February and The Ancillary Revenue in Travel conference on 20th and 21st February 2008.

Bringing together web experts from leading travel companies, the Travel Technology Seminar programme hosts 15 sessions on the hottest topics affecting the travel industry. Other speakers will come from the Train Line, WAYN and Cheapflights.

Michael Rhodes will be speaking about technologies that will enable travel professionals to attract and keep clients. He will be speaking alongside Helen Bonner, chief executive at Web Applications and Michael Collins, managing consultant at DMC.

Michael will also be presenting at the Ancillary Revenue in Travel 2008 conference in Dublin, which will feature expert speakers giving their insight on how to increase ancillary revenue. He will be presenting alongside speakers from companies such as Ryanair, American Airlines, Flybe and Expedia.

The conference aims to show all sectors of the travel industry how to increase revenue and maximise profits. Michael will be providing information on identifying the perfect the balance between flexibility whilst trying not to overwhelm your customer with too many offerings that will distract from the core product.

Leger Holidays places great importance on e-commerce and is consistently at the forefront of web technology. In 2007 Leger was one of the first travel companies to gain AAA standard for web content accessibility, it introduced Skype onto the website and was also the first coach tour operator to incorporate Google Earth into its website.
