In the north, the waters of the Musandam peninsula benefit from supreme visibility, Habalayn Bay, north of Dibba, is considered one of the best spots in the marine reserve. This breathtaking peninsula is carved with fjords and cliffs which have created superb underwater wall drop-offs for divers.
Located just off Muscat’s pristine beaches is Fahal island, a diving gem with ten amazing sites as well as caves with varying depths, suitable for all diving abilities. The Dimaniyat Islands marine reserve is a cluster of nine islands stretching over 20km, all with superb visibility with rock faces and shelves in the north and shallow reefs ideal for snorkelling in the south.
