Sonoma Wine Country is open for business

The lightning-induced wildfires that are reported in Northern California are affecting less then one-half of one percent of the 5-million acre wine country, no fires in the one million acres of Sonoma Country.

"Our 259 wineries are open and greeting visitors, and our resorts, hotels, inns and B&Bs are operating as usual," said Ken Fishang, CEO and president of the Sonoma County Tourism Bureau. "From the miles of rugged Pacific ocean coastline to the valleys and vineyards, 'Sonoma Country' is open for visitors."

“Sonoma Country,” located 30 miles from San Francisco, is America’s premier wine, spa and coastal destination, featuring more than 250 wineries, over 100 organic farms, and 50 miles of stunning Pacific coast.
