Its Miami Spa Month

Renowned for its award-winning luxury spas, Miami is launching its first ever Miami Spa Month in July 2008. Over 20 of Miami’s best spas including Spa V at Hotel Victor and The Spa at The Mandarin Hotel, will offer $99 treatments – representing savings of at least 50 per cent on usual prices.

“Miami Spa Month will be yet another reason to visit Greater Miami and its top-notch spas this summer”, said GMCVB President and CEO William D. Talbert, III, CDME. “We thank our spa partners and Presenting Sponsor American Express for their support in launching the first-ever Miami spa experience where visitors and locals can enjoy spa services at half the regular cost.”

Treatments offered by the spas during Miami Spa Month include aromatherapy facials, Oriental foot therapy, a 30-minute body polish followed by a 30-minute back massage, a 90-minute “ocean wrap” and a milk and honey massage with organic scalp treatment. Inspired by Miami’s popular Mojito cocktail, the “Journey to Havana” includes a treatment with mint oil, sugar body scrub and Vichy shower water massage.
