Audi dominates BusinessCar Awards

27th January 2009 Print
Audi’s A4 has been voted Business Car of the Year by the readers of BusinessCar magazine.

The BusinessCar Awards are the only awards in the market that are solely decided by the readership. This makes them the most influential in the business car arena.

Alongside the A4’s win, Audi took six other categories wins including Sporting Car with the A5 and Small 4x4 with the Q5.

Alongside the Audi A4’s Business Car of the Year, the other headline categories went to BMW for both Manufacturer of the Year and the Environmental Award for its Efficient Dynamics package, while Service Supplier of the Year went to auctions giant Manheim.

Tristan Young, BusinessCar Editor-in-chief, said: “The new A4’s win demonstrates how much value business car managers put on strong residual values, prestige branding and low running costs. The Audi’s win also shows how much influence keeping drivers happy and staff retention has on the fleet manager’s job.

“The BusinessCar Awards are a barometer for the company car market. BMW’s double headline award win shows the importance fleets are placing on greener, lower-CO2 models.”
