Food and Travel Magazine launches in Turkey

Food and Travel (Turkey) is the monthly insiders’ guide to the world of gourmet travel. Its content reflects the successful editorial platforms found in its UK sister edition, including the sumptuous Gourmet Traveller guides to local cuisines around the globe, a monthly seasonal food focus, inspiring international escapes, news and travel diary dates, and the essential update on what’s new on the global restaurant scene.
Food and Travel (Turkey) is published under licence by Ciner Magazine Group, one of Turkey’s most experienced magazine publishers, whose portfolio of market-leading international titles also includes Marie Claire, Marie Claire Maison, Rolling Stone, GEO, FHM and Seventeen. The deal was brokered by Planet Syndication.
Gregor Rankin of Green Pea Publishing Ltd commented: “We are naturally very excited by the launch of Food and Travel magazine into the domestic Turkish market. In Ciner we believe we have found the ideal partner, one who shares our vision and the same high editorial standards that the UK edition enjoys. We are confident that the magazine will be extremely well received in Turkey.”
“We are delighted to be partnering with Green Pea Publishing to launch a high quality and award-winning magazine for today’s Turkish audience”, said Can Dogusal of Ciner Magazine Group. “Following the formula used for other titles that we publish on licence with overseas partners, Food and Travel (Turkey) will be based on the UK edition, but will cover major features from Turkey as well. We are convinced it will secure high circulation levels and strong advertising revenues.”
Distributed nationally, Food and Travel (Turkey) will be 160 pages, priced at YTL6.
