Shakespeare Country scoops top industry awards

Shakespeare Country is delighted to announce that two of its members have recently scooped a top industry award for their services.

QHotels, who own three hotels within Shakespeare Country - the Chesford Grange Hotel, The Stratford and The Stratford Manor, has been named AA Hotel Group of the Year for 2008/09. Now in its 8th year, the prestigious AA Award was presented to the hotel group for demonstrating outstanding commitment to improving and developing its individual hotels, while maintaining brand consistency across the group.

Guiding You Ltd has been awarded a Quality at Heart ‘Gold’ Servicemark for excellence in customer service. Guiding You, run by David Waite and Leigh Moor, organise car, coach and walking tours, itinerary planning, ground handling, familiarisation visits, presentations and client welcoming with their team of Blue Badge Tour Guides. The Quality at Heart scheme was devised to encourage tourism, leisure and hospitality operators in the Heart of England region to achieve the highest levels of quality.
