Win a trip to South Australia and become a movie star

‘Stars of South Australia’ is a competition created by South Australia, STA Travel and Qantas, offering would be presenters, actors and film makers the chance to win a trip to South Australia which will be filmed by a professional film crew. Their video and web blogs will then be posted on statravel.co.uk during their stay in South Australia, in January 2009.

Adventure travellers are invited to come up with a great idea for ‘South Australia – The Movie’, starring themselves and the friend with whom they would like to travel. All they have to do is make a film of their take on South Australia in two minutes or less using their mobile phone, digital camera or other recording device and submit it to STA Travel.

The lucky winner and companion will win an amazing two-week trip to experience the highlights of South Australia, including camping and trekking in the Outback, swimming with sharks and dolphins, wildlife watching on Kangaroo Island, surfing, wine tasting and much more.

Competition judges are looking for film entries that stand out, make them laugh or represent the wonderful and varied state of South Australia at its very best. Judges will choose their top 10 entries which the public will then vote on as to who wins the ultimate prize.

Films should be submitted to STA between 3rd November and 5pm on 1st December 2008 with the winners being available for travel 6 - 19 January 2009.
