Commonwealth Club offers business travellers base for the day

The Commonwealth Club has launched a specific meeting product aimed at time-poor business executives. ‘Boarding pass to Boardroom’ is designed to meet the needs of business travellers who are in the capital for smaller meetings with clients or colleagues. Rather than having to book expensive meeting rooms, with their associated costs, or even perch in a lobby or coffee shop, The Commonwealth Club is offering a simple one-day business pass for £150.

Included in the cost is the hire of a meeting room for up to four guests, refreshments for the duration of the day, full business facilities and a working lunch. Time-poor executives, or those on the red-eye from the USA, can also make use of The Commonwealth Club’s shower facilities.

The Commonwealth Club is a highly regarded meeting space in the very heart of London. Recognised as the centre for communication of ideas, The Club has hosted addresses from luminaries including Nelson Mandela and HM The Queen.

General Manager, Shaun Whitehouse said: “We are often asked for a quiet corner in The Club’s lounge but all too often this isn’t conducive to sensitive business meetings. We have created a very simple product that allows travellers without a London base a place to carry out their business when they are in town for the day.”
