Full speed ahead for Mantic Point

At a time when the credit crunch is snapping at travel companies heels – Mantic Point, which provides personalised travel and destination assistance to subscribers using mobile phone messaging, continues to invest in the industry. Bucking the trend, Mantic Point intends to increase development headcount by a third during 2009 after a number of its new innovations were granted UK, European and USA patents.

The company, which is part owned by Rolls Royce, has been granted new patents for a tranche of products it has been refining at its development centre in Leeds.
Mantic Point is the only key player to provide a service that is personalised, context aware and multi-channeled.

By using the Mantic Point product world travelers can ensure they get to their departure point bang on time, receive assistance once they have arrived at their destination and even receive weather and traffic updates.
