New website points the way to tomorrow’s travel deals

Travelwhere.co.uk’s point-and-click maps and page-turning brochures are driving new business for package tour operators. The company’s new travel specific website has been launched at a time when the web continues to challenge every traditional travel distribution channel. In joining this revolution, Travelwhere has not lost sight of the continued appetite amongst holidaymakers for brochure-based holiday research.

Travelwhere has re-launched its travel specific website (travelwhere.co.uk) and is focused on adding unique value for its travel industry partners. This value comes from easy, customer-friendly point-and-click travel maps backed by a database of digitised brochure content.

Thus Travelwhere has been developed as a map based online brochure and holiday search directory. Holiday brochures can be found in one of two ways. Travelwhere’s BrochureMap technology finds brochures via a click on the chosen destination on a map. Travelwhere’s BrochureRack search system finds brochures based on country, region, holiday activity and accommodation style.

Once the brochure – or selection of brochures – is found, visitors can then browse page-by-page using Travelwhere’s online page-turning facility, and then move seamlessly to the booking facility of their chosen operator.

Holiday consumers can find and view holiday brochures and book their holiday with ease. At the same time Tour Operators have an immediate online brochure distribution solution.

“We make Travelwhere easy to use as a one-stop source for visitors to research and plan their holiday, but especially to find and view brochures online in the countries and regions featured in Operators’ brochures” says Ian Champness, the founder and MD of Travelwhere.

“We aim to become a leading affiliate marketing partner for the travel industry”, continues Champness, “Tour Operators have always been exercised by the huge and continued high cost of brochure distribution, but are also driven by the continued appetite of their customers for brochure-based holiday research”

Meantime, Champness believes there is a growing desire in the travel industry to support applications that can deliver more environmentally-friendly brochure distribution solutions. He claims his page-turning, feature-rich e-brochures could not be greener.

“Consumers can open and view the brochure online, instantly, and that’s what they want and expect in this digital age. Travelwhere’s page-turning brochures are easy to view online, and they could save operators a fortune in print, postage and fulfillment costs”.
