Why Krakow?

A new website highlighting the wonderful attractions of Krakow has been launched in partnership with the Polish National Tourist Office. The Why Krakow internet site (whykrakow.com) lists 10 reasons why holidaymakers should choose the Polish capital of culture as their preferred holiday destination.

Launched on 2 February 2009 the site aims to inform and educate while offering users an insight into what makes Krakow so very special. The topics covered include Krakow’s famous cuisine, rich history and vibrant nightlife.

Acting Director of the PNTO, Ewa Binkin, said: “Krakow is a wonderful city and has lots on offer for visitors. This new website puts all of the information about Krakow at people’s finger tips – city highlights have been compressed into bite-sized chunks to give people a real flavour of what to expect.”
