‘Marley & Me’ puts Palm Beach top of holiday wish list

Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson’s latest blockbuster, the much anticipated “Marley & Me,” which will be in cinemas nationwide on 11th March, is set in Palm Beach County, just 50 miles north of Fort Lauderdale, 70 miles north of Miami and 150 miles south of Orlando, Florida. “Marley & Me” is the best-selling novel by John Grogan, based on his own experiences.

The romantic story about newlyweds John (Wilson) and Jenny Grogan (Aniston) who abandon the harsh winters of Michigan and head south to begin new lives in South Florida, was largely filmed on the beaches of Briny Breezes, a little waterfront town located between the towns of Ocean Ridge and Gulf Stream in Palm Beach County, Florida.
