Supercar performance, city car economy
Automotive Performance Services (APS) has unveiled two new tuning packages for the 3.0-litre TDI Quattro version of the popular, sleek and stylish Audi A5 coupe.APS’s Stage One upgrade consists of a carefully developed ECU remap, which adjusts the fuelling on the 236bhp 2967cc common rail piezo injection V6 A5 engine, as well as removing the factory 155mph top speed limiter. The results are a 55bhp power increase, raising total power output to 292bhp, meanwhile torque increases from 369lb.ft to an astonishing 429lb.ft, guaranteeing effortless performance.
Pleasingly, emissions are unaffected as the factory diesel particulate filer remains unaltered and similarly, fuel economy remains at a 40mpg average.
APS’s Stage Two conversion for the Audi 3.0-litre A5 coupe adds a Milltek sports exhaust system to the Stage One package. Eye catching and produced from high quality stainless steel, the cat back system endows the V6 A5 with a subtle, deep, refined exhaust note, which perfectly compliments the nature of the APS conversion.
APS’s Stage One and Stage Two 3.0-litre V6 TDi Audi A5 upgrades cost £599.00 and £1300.00 respectively, including fitting and VAT @ 15%. APS conversions are protected by a guarantee covering the remainder of the original Audi three year warranty.
In addition to its engine upgrades, APS also offers a full range of high quality suspension, braking, wheel and cosmetic upgrades for the Audi A5 coupe range, visit autops.co.uk
