New Zealand events company reveals new talent

One of New Zealand’s leading destination and event management companies continues to grow with the acquisition of a Queenstown special events company.

Exclusive Events has purchased Reveal Event Management to grow its special events creations and enhance the company’s destination and event management programme.

Former Reveal director Samantha Stirling will now focus on operations and special events across New Zealand for Exclusive Events from the company’s Queenstown office.

Exclusive Events General Manager Liam Taylor said the company, which had experienced significant growth since its inception in 2007, was expert at delivering inspired and extraordinary experiences for the corporate, incentive and business market throughout Australasia.

“Bringing the talents and flair of Samantha into the fold will add spice to our events for the C&I market which we’re really excited about,” he said.

Mr Taylor said the decision to bring Reveal under the Exclusive Events banner was an obvious one.

“We watched Reveal and the momentum that the business was gaining in the special events market and it seemed only logical to combine our strengths”.

Ms Stirling said she was delighted with the move.

“Reveal was created to take special events within Queenstown to a new level. Joining forces with Exclusive Events enables us to jointly deliver bigger and better corporate special events throughout New Zealand.”

“We have a similar philosophy and approach to destination and event management. It’s about creativity, exceeding expectations, being inspired, developing client specific events, and above all else, it’s about the little touches,” she added.

Undeterred by the current economic climate, Mr Taylor said Exclusive Events’ client base continued to grow.

“We’re still receiving numerous opportunities to quote. Our Australian clients, who may have gone further afield in previous years, still want an international experience, but closer to home. New Zealand is a perfect solution.”

The new business structure will operate under the Exclusive Events (EE) brand with Reveal Event Management as a sub brand specific to special events only.
