Bentley and Vindis in new partnership for Norwich

Bentley Norwich, the famous British car company’s official dealership in East Anglia, has joined the Vindis Group, one of the region’s most successful and well-established motor retailers. Vindis Group, which has close to fifty years of automotive industry experience and employs over 600 people at 16 outlets covering Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire, recently purchased the Duke Street dealership from Sytner Group.

“Everyone at the dealership has warmly welcomed the new partnership as Vindis Group has the size, resources and expertise to ensure Bentley Norwich will continue to expand,” said General Manager Patrick Sneezum.

Michael Mayer, Bentley Motors UK and European Regional Director, said Vindis Group had joined the Bentley marque at a positive time with two highly distinctive Crewe-built cars, the Mulsanne and Continental Supersports, recently receiving considerable media and customer interest at the prestigious Frankfurt International Motor Show.

“Both of these new models are strong examples of British craftsmanship and engineering innovation. The Continental Supersports, which will have a special preview at Bentley Norwich in November, is noteworthy as it is the fastest production car produced during Bentley’s 90-year history whilst also pioneering the use of flexfuel in the luxury sector,” Mayer commented.

Mayer added that the Vindis’s long-standing relationship with major brands including Volkswagen and Audi as well as a strong focus on customer relations had been important considerations.

“Bentley Norwich has regularly performed very strongly in our customer surveys and we know that Vindis had the right credentials to maintain the high standards the team have set themselves.”

Situated in Duke Street, Bentley Norwich employs 12 full-time staff and offers the complete Bentley Model range as well a wide selection of used cars under the Bentley Approved programme. The dealership also has a team of factory-trained service technicians and offers an extensive range of financial products through Bentley Financial Services.

Established in 1960, Vindis Group represents Audi, Lotus, Skoda and Volkswagen. The company also represents Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and owns and operates a bodyshop business which has achieved BSI Kitemark status.
