Barratt unveils award winning new homes in East London Barratt East London has unveiled a new development in fashionable Bethnal Green. Called ‘Tria’ and located in Gossett Street, E2, the project has already won a Housing Design Award ahead of construction.

The £15 million development - directly overlooking Warner Green, a delightful little public park adjacent to the site – goes on sale on October 10th, when a preview will be held at the Hoxton Hotel, Great Eastern Street, EC2, from 11.00am to 4.00pm.

Prices at Tria start from around £244,995 for a one-bedroom apartment.

Designed for Barratt by Formation Architects – the development is a striking and contemporary addition to what is very much the 'old' East End and an increasingly fashionable part of the capital.

Barratt East London sales director Gary Patrick said: “Bethnal Green is an increasingly fashionable area of the capital and Tria will make a positively stylish contribution to that trend.

“Like the nearby areas of Shoreditch, Hoxton, Stole Newington and Dalston, old Bethnal Green is now very arty and desirable while remaining affordable. Tria definitely reflects that cool East London vibe” he said.

Tria will eventually comprise 51 one and two-bedroom apartments and two townhouses in a single building rising to six storeys, crowned by a stunning communal roof terrace. The unfinished project has already won a Housing Design Award.

The site is close to Jesus Hospital Estate Conservation Area, a famous Victorian residential quarter of the East End, and within easy strolling distance of Bethnal Green tube station. It is well positioned for the City, Shoreditch, Haggerston Park, and Columbia Road Market.

Tria is also nicely positioned to take advantage of the East London line extension which comes to this part of Hackney in 2010.
