Flexible new show home opens at Castle Heights David Wilson East Midlands has unveiled a brand new showhome at its Castle Heights development in Church Gresley and is inviting prospective purchasers to come and take a look around.

The housebuilder has recently opened the doors to plot 339 which is a four- bedroom family home in the style of a Haywood. Offering living space spread generously over three floors, the Haywood is an extremely flexible style that is ideal for those seeking an adaptable property that can expand and contract to fit the demands of a modern family lifestyle.

Philip Lacey, Sales Director at David Wilson comments “The Haywood is one of the most popular styles from the David Wilson portfolio and so was an obvious choice for the new showhome at Castle Heights.

“Three storey properties like these are ideal for those seeking a contemporary property as purchasers can adapt the layout to suit their particular needs and we wanted to demonstrate this in the new showhome. We gave Designer Contracts the brief of creating a comfortable yet flexible family home that I think they have done a fantastic job of creating.”

Suzanne Kerley, Head of Showhome Design at Designer Contracts, designed the new showhome. She comments “We decided on a neutral colour scheme of browns, creams, mochas and lattes that would appeal to a wide variety of purchasers but we incorporated accents of peacock blue and duck egg blue which helped to give it a fresh and modern edge.

“It’s an incredibly flexible style and we’ve adapted the layout to exemplify this. We’re using the study as a dining room and also the fourth bedroom has been converted into a study.

“We’ve incorporated a focal wall in both the dining room and we’ve added a feature strip up the stairwell which is designed to demonstrate interesting things you can do with paint and will hopefully encourage purchasers to pick up a brush and get creative.

“I’m thrilled with the final look of the Haywood showhome, it makes a superb family home and I think we’ve more than illustrated its flexibility through the design of the interior.”

Located on Castle Road, Castle Heights offers Derbyshire homebuyers a stunning selection of one-, two-, three-, four- and five- bedroom homes from the David Wilson portfolio.

The development boasts an attractive, rural setting yet it is within easy reaching distance of a number of cities including Derby, Leicester and Birmingham.

Prices at the development start from £59,995 for a one- bedroom apartment in the style of a Bayberry. Prices for the Haywood style start from £199,995.

To visit the new showhome, visit the development during the opening hours of 11am-6pm, daily.
