McCarthy and Stone welcomes the Mayor of Eastwood

McCarthy and Stone’s latest retirement development in Eastwood, Hartwell Court, was officially opened on Friday 23rd October by Councillor Keith Longdon, Mayor of Eastwood.
The Mayor, who was joined by his wife Annette Longdon, was received by Keith Johnson, regional managing director for McCarthy & Stone, and introduced to the team at Hartwell Court including Sales Consultant Jan Greenwood and house manager Carol Oakland. Over a cream tea the Mayor and consort chatted to residents about their retirement and how they’ve settled in to the development. The Mayor then cut the ribbon to declare Hartwell Court officially open.
Keith Johnson, regional managing director, said: “We were delighted to welcome the Mayor to Hartwell Court and are thrilled that our latest development in Eastwood is now officially open.
“There is a strong sense of community here, which the Mayor noted, and which is why this development has generated so much interest. If you would like to find out more about the lifestyle you could be enjoying here why not come and see us?”
