With the next phase of homes at Taylor Wimpey’s Saxon Meadow development in Hereford now available to buy off plan, purchasers are reaping the benefits that come with purchasing a new property before any bricks have been laid.

Off plan purchasers are a step ahead of the game as, with house prices on the rise for the second month in a row*, anyone reserving now can secure their new home at 2009 prices, for a 2010 move in. Buyers can also personalise their new home from a choice of colours and upgrades, ranging from kitchen appliances to chrome electrical switches and sockets to a selection of wardrobes** and flooring, before they move in.

Sara Taylor, regional sales and marketing director, comments: “Prospective purchasers may be wary of reserving before they’ve seen their home in bricks and mortar but, for those willing to buy off plan, there are a host of benefits. These include getting the choice of plots and having input into your new home’s interior finish, including the style of kitchen and bathroom you’d like, meaning your home will be ready to move straight into and enjoy. With only nine properties remaining off plan, anyone interested should contact us now to avoid missing out.”

The homes at Saxon Meadow will be built using integrated waste bins for easy recycling, energy efficient light bulbs and water butts for collection and use of rainwater, to promote an environmentally-friendly lifestyle.

Located on the banks of the River Wye, Saxon Meadow is the fifth phase of Taylor Wimpey homes in Hereford. Excellent educational facilities, high street shops and a host of leisure activities are right on the doorstep. Major city centres, such as Cardiff, Bristol and Birmingham, are all situated within a sixty mile radius, with links to London by rail.

Visit Taylor Wimpey’s information centre on Bullingham Lane to view plans for the new phase, open daily from 10.00am to 5.00pm. Alternatively, log on to georgewimpey.co.uk.
