Tory leader gives Aspire development in Witney the thumbs up

Conservative leader and local MP David Cameron visited the newest addition to his constituency last week for the official opening of the brand new £50m retail centre at Linden Homes’ Aspire development in Witney.

The centre represents the creation of a whole new urban hub for the area, providing an eclectic mix of retail, leisure and entertainment facilities as well as 74 apartments overlooking the new shopping mall. It is set to significantly benefit the wider Witney community, as well as the new residents who have already moved into the homes in phase one at Aspire.

Cameron joined several hundred of his local constituents for the official launch of the retail centre, where he met with Linden Homes staff and homebuyers now living at the development. Aspire has provided a shining example of positive regeneration in the Tory leader’s own constituency, bucking the trend in a tough market by bringing substantial external investment to the area, as well as providing an invaluable source of homes at affordable prices for local people.
