Santander reduce cost of Reward and Premier 50 accounts
Santander's UK current account brands, Abbey and Alliance & Leicester, are making two packaged accounts even more affordable in the run-up to Christmas. Abbey's Reward Bank Account and the Alliance & Leicester Premier 50 Current Account will now cost just £5 per month for three months, instead of £10 per month.
These accounts provide hundreds of pounds worth of benefits, including annual worldwide travel insurance, ID protection and important health cover, as well as a market-leading interest rate of 6% on the credit balance, and an interest-free overdraft if you go overdrawn.

0% EAR typical overdraft. No usage fees on agreed overdrafts for 12 months from when you open the account (new customers only). A usage fee of 50p a day (up to £5 a month) applies after that.
Maximum overdraft limit is £2,000.
