Sales success at award-winning East London development

Barratt East London has recorded a significant sales triumph at Tria, its award-winning development in fashionable Bethnal Green.

Launched just over three weeks ago, already ten of the 36 apartments have been sold. Buyers are a mix of investors and owner-occupiers with the majority already living in the area, signalling the local appeal of the one and two-bedroom apartments and underlining how well the very attractive development has integrated with the surrounding community.

Prices at Tria start from £244,995 for a one-bedroom apartment.

The £15 million development in Gossett Street, E2 directly overlooks Warner Green, a delightful little public park. Designed for Barratt by Formation Architects, Tria is a striking and contemporary addition to what is very much the 'old' East End, and an increasingly fashionable part of the capital.

Barratt East London sales director Gary Patrick said: “This is a really great start. The strong local buyer commitment points to the appeal of homes like these in Bethnal Green. It’s become the new fashionable area of the capital and Tria is a striking addition that locals want to make their home.”

Tria will eventually comprise 36 private one and two-bedroom apartments in a single building rising to six storeys, crowned by a stunning communal roof terrace.  The unfinished project has already won a Housing Design Award.

The site is close to Jesus Hospital Estate Conservation Area, a famous Victorian residential quarter of the East End, and is within easy strolling distance of Bethnal Green tube station. It is well positioned for the City, Shoreditch, Haggerston Park and Columbia Road Market.

Tria is also nicely situated to take advantage of the East London line extension which comes to this part of Hackney in 2010.
