Help to afford the home you want at Great Hall Park

Do you dream of buying your own home or moving up the property ladder but don’t think you can afford to? The team at Taylor Wimpey’s new Great Hall Park development in Ellesmere Port can help make your wish come true – but you’ll have to get your skates on!

Taylor Wimpey is helping purchasers make their move by offering the Government’s HomeBuy Direct* scheme on limited properties at Great Hall Park. The scheme is designed to help purchasers buy 100% of their new home for as little as 70% of the price.

Amie Reeves, regional sales manager, said: “Since launching last month we have had a great deal of interest in Great Hall Park and have already taken four applications for the HomeBuy Direct scheme, as well as a reservation on one of the four bedroom detached homes. Buying a home can be a financially daunting prospect for many, especially first time buyers, which is why we’ve introduced the scheme here to try and lesson the burden and make buying a first property, or moving up the ladder, as stress free and affordable as possible.

“I’d urge house hunters not to despair as there are a number of options available to help get them moving. Those interested in owning their own home or making a move to a bigger one, should definitely pay Great Hall Park a visit to find out more – especially as there are only a limited number of homes available under HomeBuy Direct.”

House hunters taking advantage of HomeBuy Direct will receive an interest free equity loan, up to 30 per cent of the value of the property, co-funded by the Homes and Communities agency and Taylor Wimpey. For example, the initiative means that if you qualify for a mortgage of £82,000 you could buy one of the three bedroom Bancroft homes at Great Hall Park, which are currently priced from £117,450.

The Bancroft offers modern living ideal for first time buyers or a small family. The ground floor features an open plan living / dining room, kitchen, useful cloakroom and private garden to the rear of the home. Upstairs is the master bedroom with ensuite, two further bedrooms and a contemporary bathroom.

When complete, Great Hall Park will offer a desirable collection of two bedroom apartments, and three and four bedroom homes, appealing to a range of house hunters including first time buyers, young professionals, investors and families.

The first phase of properties comprises a collection of 16 three bedroom mews homes and six four bedroom detached houses, with prices starting from just £117,450.
