Half-term fun, Harry Potter-style
A short break for Harry Potter fans young and old is on the menu at the Museum of Science in Boston this February half-term from US operator, Bon Voyage.
Boston is the second venue of the official world tour of “Harry Potter: The Exhibition”, an event which contains more than 200 authentic props and costumes from the Harry Potter films, all displayed in settings inspired by the film sets such as the Great Hall, Hagrid’s Hut and the Gryffindor common room.
Film artefacts such as Harry’s glasses, the Marauder’s Map and Hermione’s Yule Ball gown will also be on display and visitors can pause to pull a screeching Mandrake from its pot or try their hand at tossing a ‘Quaffle’.
A three-night break with Bon Voyage – taken before 21 February – costs £525 per adult and £325 per child. Prices, based on two adults and two youngsters (two-11 years) sharing, include return daily direct flights from Heathrow and room-only accommodation at the four-star Omni Hotel.
Tickets for the exhibition can be purchased on mos.org.
