Spanair and Brussels Airlines begin codeshare agreement

Spanair and Brussels Airlines have launched a strategic bilateral alliance based on codeshare agreement connecting the European capital to Spain.

Both companies stand to strengthen their commercial cooperation in the Spanish and Belgian markets, especially for business travellers.

From now on passengers of both airlines will enjoy various connections from Spain to Brussels and will benefit of an equivalence of premium services.

Brussels is the International hub with most connections to the African continent as well as being the headquarters of the European capital. Since last December, Brussels Airlines is a Star Alliance member along with Spanair, the first and most prestigious global airline alliance.

Frequent flyers from both airlines can accrue and redeem miles on all Brussels Airlines and Spanair flights. Furthermore they could access to the several lounges available for Business Class passengers and Gold cardholders.

Bilbao, Palma de Mallorca, Malaga, Madrid, Barcelona and Seville are the Spanish destinations where Brussels Airlines operates from and to, combining with the Spanair routes.

Spanair ensure connections to passengers coming from or going to Tenerife, Alicante, Ibiza and La Coruna through Madrid and Barcelona airports.

Currently, Brussels Airlines operates 11 flights to Spain: 4 daily flights from Madrid, 4 daily flights from Barcelona, 1 daily flight from Malaga, 2 daily flights from Bilbao, 1 weekly flight from Palma de Mallorca and 3 weekly flights from Seville.
