Barratt proves popular in Hucclecote

Barratt has sold more than 80 per cent of homes in the current phase of development at its Hucclecote development Coopers Edge with just eight, three and four bedroom homes remaining.
“Buyers have been really impressed with our location and designs at Coopers Edge and we are delighted to have sold so many homes,’’ said sales director Andrea Pilgrim.
“There is a real community feel and we know that families in particular have really fallen for this development.’’
The remaining homes are available in three different house styles, the three bedroom Maidstone which costs from £172,995 and the four bedroom Butcote and Dumont designs which are priced from £214,995.
“These family homes provide the flexible living accommodation that people are looking for and have been carefully designed with modern living in mind,’’ said Andrea.
The Maidstone family home offers a light and spacious lounge, kitchen with fitted contemporary units and dining area, family bathroom, en-suite to the master bedroom and downstairs cloakroom.
For townhouse living the Butcote has plenty to offer. The ground floor comprises a light and airy open plan kitchen together with, breakfast/family room and patio doors leading to the garden.
Two bedrooms, the formal lounge and family bathroom are on the first floor with two further bedrooms on the top floor including the master bedroom which has ensuite facilities.
The Dumont offers plenty for a growing family with cloakroom, an open plan kitchen/diner, spacious lounge, utility room, en-suite master bedroom, two additional double bedrooms, a single bedroom and family bathroom.
And Barratt is offering the government-backed HomeBuy Direct scheme on selected homes.
Buyers who are eligible for the HomeBuy Direct scheme can buy a brand new home at Coopers Edge for just 70% of the purchase price as 30% is funded by a shared equity loan from Barratt and the Homes and Communications Agency (HCA).
Cooper’s Edge is part of a community being built on the outskirts of Hucclecote village in Gloucestershire. Once complete, this community will offer a range of amenities including schools, high street shops, pubs, restaurants and a sports centre.
The village of Hucclecote sits at the foothills of The Cotswolds, an area of outstanding natural beauty, and the nearby M5 offers easy access to the thriving towns of Gloucester and Cheltenham.
