New part-ex deals offered at Prescot development

With interest rates remaining at an historic low and the Bank of England reporting an increase in mortgage approvals over the past 12 months, George Wimpey Manchester is now offering part exchange deals on a number of Arun homes at the housebuilder’s popular Manor Court development on Steley Way in Prescot.
Part exchange helps potential purchasers own a brand new home, even if they have been struggling to sell their existing property. With the housing market definitely improving, the scheme is a real boost for people looking to take the next step on the property ladder.
Since July 2009, when George Wimpey introduced the scheme at Manor Court, eight new homes were sold to housebuyers who offered their own home in part exchange for a new home at the development.
But this is the first time the Arun housetype has been included in the George Wimpey part exchange scheme at Manor Court. Only a limited number of properties are available.
The Arun is a beautiful three bedroom town house spread across three floors. As well as the three bedrooms, one of which includes an ensuite bathroom, Arun housetypes boast a Juliet balcony to the lounge, a cleverly designed combined kitchen and breakfast room, family bathroom, downstairs cloak room and private garden.
Arun homes come complete with integral single garage and prices start at just £161,995.
Anthony Mansfield, sales and marketing director for George Wimpey Manchester, said: “The most stressful aspect of buying a new home is selling your current property. With part-exchange you don’t have to worry about selling your house because we will buy it from you. The scheme provides you with a guaranteed buyer, a hassle free move and it removes the financial burden of estate agents’ fees.
“By using the scheme, buyers will also be entitled to our ‘House to Home removal service’, where our specialised team will pack and unpack their belongings and take care of the removal insurance – it couldn’t be simpler!”
Part exchange is one of a number of different schemes running at Manor Court. Others include Recommend a Friend. Under this innovative scheme, when someone recommends a friend who goes on to buy a new home at the development, both parties receive £500 from George Wimpey.
And the financial advantages of owning a new home don’t stop once the purchase is complete. Industry experts say that running costs are significantly lower for a new home when compared to equivalent older homes. Research by National Energy Services found that average energy bills for a new build home could be as much as £556 cheaper than older home.*
Manor Court, situated on Steley Way, is a beautifully crafted selection of one and two bedroom apartments and three bedroom townhouses.
