House-hunters seeking a first home – or to move up the property ladder for less – have a fabulous opportunity to make 2010 the year they make their best investment.

Taylor Wimpey is offering customers a choice of ways to lower their mortgage costs when they purchase a new home at its Blenheim Grange development in Watton, Norfolk.

For example, by choosing selected two or three-bedroom homes available with the leading housebuilder’s Easy Start incentive, customers can own 100% of their new home now, while Taylor Wimpey provides a 10-year interest-free loan covering 15% of the purchase price.

As a result, Easy Start enables potential purchasers to secure the mortgage they need to get on or move up the property ladder while the market is favourable – and without having a substantial deposit saved or equity in their existing property.

Just one of the properties available with an Easy Start equity loan is a delightful two-bedroom ‘Rothay’ coach house with single garage and private front door and entrance hallway.

This generously proportioned first-floor home features a large open-plan reception room/kitchen with fitted units and integrated appliances, a light and airy double bedroom, a generous second bedroom, and a bathroom off the entrance hallway.

With a price tag of only £101,995, the ‘Rothay’ Easy Start equity loan covers more than £15,000 of the cost – meaning the lucky buyer can secure this stylish property for only £86,695!

Taylor Wimpey is also offering the Easy Start incentive on a three-bedroom ‘Delamere’ townhouse with a superb en-suite master bedroom on the top floor and priced at just £118,995 with Easy Start – and the three-bedroom, two-bathroom semi-detached ‘Chester’, available for a great-value £106,245 under the initiative.

As an alternative to the Easy Start scheme, one selected ‘Rothay’ coach house at the development is available with Taylor Wimpey’s popular Deposit Match incentive, enabling the buyer to double their deposit up to 10% of the £101,995 price through a 10-year interest-free equity loan of more than £10,000.

Easy Start and Deposit Match are available on selected homes only and terms and conditions apply. Full details are available from the Sales Executive at the development.

Each home available under the Easy Start and Deposit Match scheme comes with allocated parking outside, and all new homes at Blenheim Grange are finished to a high standard specification including gas central heating, double glazing and a fitted kitchen with built-in oven, hob and hood.

Nicola Bullivant, Sales Manager for Taylor Wimpey East Anglia, says: “Easy Start and Deposit Match provide a chance for those living with family or renting to take advantage of today’s lower property prices – after all, owning a home outright is far better than spending thousands of pounds in rent and having nothing to show for it this time next year!

“Because we put down the initial 15% through Easy Start, all our customers need is a 5% deposit to own 100% of their new home straight away.

“They then simply repay the interest-free loan in up to three instalments during the 10-year period.”

Blenheim Grange enjoys a peaceful woodland location on the eastern fringes of the market town of Watton, which offers shops catering for everyday needs and a choice of nursery and primary schools.

For a wider choice of shopping and leisure, Thetford is an approximate 25-minute drive from the development and Norwich is approximately 30 minutes by road.

To find out more about the Easy Start and Deposit Match offers available at Blenheim Grange, visit the Sales Centre, located off Norwich Road, between Watton and Carbrooke and open Thursday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm and Mondays from 1pm to 5pm.
