In the heart of one of Italy’s ‘Citta D’Arte’ (Art Towns), Conversano, in Puglia.

With examples of baroque architecture, an impressive cathedral and the main square, lined with small bars and restaurants, it is a lovely place to visit. The 13th century ‘Corte Altavilla’ is small and unusual - it was once the court of the famous Counts of Altavilla, and oozes charm and elegance.
