Vauxhall ice skate

Last night Vauxhall Motors teamed up with some of the UK’s hottest music, design and style talents to stage a truly enchanting evening of ice skating like no other.
Thousands of hopefuls applied online for a free ticket to the exclusive, one-off event held in London, Marylebone. Lucky guests were transported to a magical, shadowy forest with an ice skating rink, customised cars and some of the hottest names around on the decks.
Entering through a secret wardrobe door, guests were greeted by a gingerbread-encrusted Corsa and taken into an ivy-covered kingdom. Creeping fog, twinkly lights and giant trees transformed the venue into a spectacular winter wonderland.
As guests sped around the ice rink, Coco Sumner looked stylish whilst spinning some choice disks, including her new song, destined for chart success, ‘Caesar’. Chart-topper Mr. Hudson played a super-hot set, followed by girl of the moment, Paloma Faith, who was looking as flamboyant as ever. George Lamb then finished off the night, providing the perfect party soundtrack.
Ice skating queen, Suzanne Shaw, came along to show off a triple axel or three, and boy band VICE enthusiastically hit the Vauxhall Ice Skate dance floor.
Adding to the wintery theme, the all-new Vauxhall Astra was encased in a giant, bespoke snow globe. At five metres tall, the one-of-a-kind snow shaker took pride of place at the event. Other four-wheeled art commissions included an icicle encrusted Agila, a spectacular Corsa, covered in an eerie midnight forest design and an Astra incorporating the events bespoke logo.
Back by popular demand, the famous Car-aoke Corsa made its fun and stylish return, with special hosts the Underground Rebel Bingo Club getting guests well and truly revved-up and in the mood, as they rocked the car with the ultimate party tunes.
