Tesco Bank unveils new jobs website as it steps up its local recruitment. Tesco Bank has launched a new, user-friendly, careers website as it recruits over 1,800 new roles at customer service centres opening this year in Newcastle and Glasgow.

Tesco Bank  announced in October that it would be creating 1,000 new jobs in a customer contact centre at Quorum Business Park, Newcastle in addition to a further 800 full time jobs in One Broadway, Glasgow.

With the new offices due to open later this year, Tesco Bank is now looking for bright, talented and customer-focused people to join its Banking Operations and General Insurance divisions.

Tesco Bank has already seen a large number of applications from experienced candidates for a range of roles.  The new website allows people to apply online and to manage their application on a specially created ‘My Tesco Bank' page accessed via the home page.

A spokesperson from Tesco Bank said: "We're hoping that the new Tesco Bank Careers website will make it even easier for talented individuals to find a new role in a different kind of bank.  We've deliberately located our new contact centres in areas where we know there is strong experience in customer services and the financial sector, with a well qualified and enthusiastic workforce. We've had a great response so far but we have many more roles still available."
