It is a heartbreaking thought that at the eleventh hour, after all your hard work and just when you thought everything was in place, the move to your dream home hangs in the balance because all your buyer’s sale falls through. This was the dilemma for Helen Lawrenson and her partner Jeff who were keen to move to Miller Homes’ Scholars Way in St Helens.

When property chains collapse like this the result can be devastating for all the house movers. Fortunately for the Helen and Jeff, Miller Homes 75 years experience and expertise meant they have an answer for collapsing chains. It is called Chainbreaker.

Helen and Jeff’s purchasers were Brian and Laura Gill. Through no fault of theirs they had lost their buyers and yet still desperately wanted to move. Miller Homes Move Maker stepped in and purchased Brian and Lauras’ home so the chain was completed and everyone could continue with the move as scheduled. Both couples are now settling into their new homes in the New Year.

Helen and Jeff have purchased a ‘Deveron’, 5 bedroom detached home at Miller Homes’ Scholars Way development in Windle. Helen says: “We were previously living in the area and liked Scholars Way, as it is a small exclusive development in a good area. Miller Homes purchasing our buyer’s house has made the move much easier for all of us.”

The ‘Deveron’ is one of six large family house designs on the development. Helen says: “Our new home has plenty of space for family and friends to come to stay. This is the first time we have bought a brand new home and I am excitedly planning the interior design.”

The Lawrenson’s have nothing but praise for Miller Homes. Helen says: “Shirley, the sales consultant, has been excellent. The whole process has been handled very efficiently and we have also found the website very helpful.”

The Lawrenson’s lived in their previous home for thirty one years and are hoping their buyers, Brian and Laura, will be just as happy there. Brian Gill commenting on the move
added: “It took the stress out of being in a chain because it closed the circle and made the whole process straight forward. There are no communication problems as it was just us, the Lawrenson’s and Miller Homes at the beginning and end of the chain. It also simplifies things legally. We are all now looking forward to living in our new home.”

Miller Homes Scholars Way development is in the sought-after, peaceful Windle suburb yet is less than a mile and a half from the bustling centre of St Helens. Its close proximity to the A580 East Lancs. Road, with easy access to the M57 and M62, also makes it ideal for commuters.

Miller Homes make moving as easy and hassle free as possible, making the whole experience a pleasant journey for all. There are new releases of homes at Scholars Way for 2010.
