You could buy a one-bedroom apartment for just £107,100 at Abbotts Wood, David Wilson Homes’ stunning new development in historic Winchester, now it’s been allocated homes on the government’s HomeBuy Direct scheme.

“These apartments are priced at £153,000, but they can be bought for as little as £107,100 through HomeBuy Direct scheme, now available on selected plots at Abbotts Wood. They can redeem the loan in instalments, purchasing up to 100 per cent of the equity after their initial purchase by buying additional equity at the market rate. Alternatively, if they sell their home, the equity loan is repaid by way of a proportionate share of the sale proceeds.
