Camping for less in France

24th February 2010 Print

Specialist operator, Vacansoleil is highlighting fantastic savings of up to £110 off all tent and mobile home holidays at every one its 335 campsites on bookings made before 31 March.

The maximum saving applies to mobile home holidays taken during low season and means, for example, that seven nights – for a family of up to six – in a fully equipped Bali mobile home at Camping Domaine de Beaulieu in France are reduced to just £228 for holidays completed between 12 May and 12 June (including May half-term).

Or in a fully equipped tent, the revised cost is £185 (saving £85) for holidays completed between 29 May and 12 June (also includes May half-term).

In addition, during peak season – from 17 July to 2 September – there’s a £30 saving on mobile home holidays and a £15 reduction on holidays in a tent.

All prices quoted include midweek return Dover-Calais P&O crossing for car and passengers.  Ferry crossings to Brittany are available for a supplement.  If no ferry is required, the price is reduced by £90.

Camping Domaine de Beaulieu is situated in the Vendee region - just one kilometre from a large sandy beach - and on-site facilities include outdoor heated pool, children’s pool, three waterslides, Jacuzzi, tennis, table tennis, mini golf, playground, games room and cycle hire.

Local attractions include an aquarium in the nearby town of Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, the zoo at Les Sables d’Olonne and the Atlantic Toboggan aquapark – with lots of pools and waterslides – at Merlin Plage.
