Taylor Wimpey is offering homebuyers the chance to part exchange their old house for a new dream home at its Fairfield Park development in Murton.

The scheme involves Taylor Wimpey buying the purchaser’s current house from them, removing all the pressure involved with selling their house and leaving them free to move into their new home. As an extra bonus, all properties being offered in the scheme are carpeted throughout.

Joan Peart, regional sales and marketing director, said: “The most stressful aspect of buying a new home is selling your current property. With part-exchange you don’t have to worry about selling your house because we will buy it from you!

Joan continued: “The part exchange scheme being offered at Fairfield Park will be just the kind of help some people need to allow them to buy their dream home. We’ve had a lot of interest in the scheme from young professionals and expanding families who are looking for a larger home and don’t fancy the prospect of having to sell their existing property. The scheme makes everything far simpler for them.”

The scheme is currently available on selected properties at Fairfield Park including a selection of beautiful four bedroom, three storey Arlington townhouses priced from just £159,950.

The ground floor of the Arlington features a large kitchen with a practical dining area and French doors that open onto the rear garden. On the first floor there is a family bathroom, a bedroom and an impressive living room with double doors that open onto a Juliet balcony. The second floor consists of three bedrooms including a luxury en-suite to the master bedroom.

Each Arlington property at Fairfield Park also benefits from a single garage, a private garden to the rear and a landscaped garden to the front.

Situated close to the coast and Seaham Harbour, Fairfield Park is surrounded by beautiful countryside. A wealth of leisure and shopping facilities are on hand nearby including Dalton Park shopping mall, while Murton itself is home to a range of amenities including a dentist and doctors’ surgery, banks, food shops and schools, all within a short walk of the development.

The outlet is also perfectly located for commuting, with the A19 and A1(M) only a short drive away and easy access to Teesside, Newcastle and Sunderland. There is also a bus service that runs close to the development with a regular service to Durham, Peterlee and Sunderland.
