Part-exchange your way to a luxury new build in Durham

Taylor Wimpey is inviting house hunters along to two of its Durham developments, Fairfield Park in Murton and Moorcroft in Spennymoor on 20th and 21st March to find out how they can part exchange their current home for a luxury new-build home at the developments.
Both Fairfield Park and Moorcroft are now offering part exchange deals on selected properties.
The scheme involves Taylor Wimpey buying the purchaser’s current house from them, removing all the pressure involved with selling their house and leaving them free to move into their new home. As an extra bonus, all properties being offered in the scheme are carpeted throughout.
Joan Peart, Taylor Wimpey regional sales and marketing director, says: “The most stressful aspect of buying a new home is selling your current property. With part-exchange you don’t have to worry about selling your house because we will buy it from you!"
Joan continued: “The part exchange scheme being offered at the two developments will be just the kind of help some people need to allow them to buy their dream home and we are expecting a lot of new interest at both Fairfield Park and Moorcroft as a result.”
Throughout the weekend of 20th and 21st March, Karl Morton and Lucy Butcher, regional Taylor Wimpey Part Exchange managers, will be on hand from 10am until 5.30pm to discuss the options available to buyers. Anyone is invited to come along to see how they can benefit from the scheme.
If you reserve a home at either development during the Part Exchange Weekend then you could be in with the chance of winning an ‘Ultimate Indulgance Hamper’ from Interflora, complete with luxurious chocolate, fudge, preserves, champagne and wine – what better way is there to celebrate the end of Lent?!
Situated close to the coast and Seaham Harbour, Fairfield Park is surrounded by beautiful countryside. A wealth of leisure and shopping facilities are on hand nearby including Dalton Park shopping mall, while Murton itself is home to a range of amenities including a dentist and doctors’ surgery, banks, food shops and schools, all within a short walk of the development.
The development offers an impressive range of four bedroom townhouses and four and bedroom detached homes, all highly spacious and beautifully designed by Taylor Wimpey, from just £159,995.
On the south side of Durham, Moorcroft in Spennymoor is just a short drive away from the city centre and provides an ideal location for a family who want to benefit from an excellent range of local amenities and schools nearby.
Nearby Jubilee Park offers a peaceful haven for walkers and joggers, while sports fans will delight in the development’s proximity to Sedgefield Racecourse and the local leisure centre which offers a swimming pool, football coaching, martial arts tutoring, tennis and badminton lessons and a gymnasium.
Homes at Moorcroft start from £139,995 and comprise a selection of three and four bedroom family homes.
Both Fairfield Park and Moorcroft are perfectly located for commuting, with the A1(M) only a short drive away and easy access to Durham, Teesside, Newcastle and Sunderland. There are also bus services that run close to the developments with regular services to the surrounding areas.
The Moorcroft marketing suite is situated south of Durham on Grayson Road in Spennymoor, while Fairfield Park is located north of Durham on Church Street in Murton. Opening hours for both marketing suites are 10.00am to 5.00pm on weekdays and 10.00am to 5.30pm on weekends.
