La Manga Club has the X Factor

La Manga Club really proved it has the X Factor allure when Ruth Lorenzo performed in front of a capacity crowd in the resort’s Piano Bar.

The finalist from the 2008 series of X Factor sang a string of the hits she performed on the ITV talent show as well as some personal favourites for her adoring fans.

The 27-year-old, who hails from nearby Murcia, said: “I was very happy to reunite with all the people that watched me grow up as an artist at La Manga Club.

“There was a really great atmosphere and I have such good memories of the place. I look forward to coming back to perform again in the future”

Lorenzo is the latest in a long line of big name acts to have performed at the luxurious lifestyle and sports resort, with Bryan Ferry, Madness, Crowded House and UB40 all having taken centre stage at La Manga Club in recent years.

And it’s also a popular destination for music stars when they’re not performing with Robbie Williams, Gloria Estefan and Mick Hucknall all having holidayed at the resort.
