Blending traditional exteriors and contemporary interiors, the latest Redrow homes in Bromborough offer a timeless yet stylish solution to modern living.

And with two ‘walk through’ homes from the New Heritage Collection now open, potential purchasers can see what life could be like if they choose to call Woodlands Grange ‘home’.

Elaine Mounsey, sales manager for Redrow Homes (NW), said: “Woodlands Grange is one of the first places in the UK to feature homes from the New Heritage Collection and to showcase the properties available we’ve got two built and ready to move into homes ¬– a three-bedroom ‘Tetbury’ and a four-bedroom ‘Pembroke’ - for customers to view at their leisure.”

A range of 34 different homes, The New Heritage Collection is a premium housing product with more than a hint of nostalgia, influenced by the ‘Arts and Crafts’ era, but boasting a specification to meet the needs of modern lifestyles.

Designs from the New Heritage Collection are also in keeping with the architecture of the 19th century garden village of Port Sunlight, which is just a stone’s throw away from Woodlands Grange.

“Our research tells us that most home buyers want a conventional two-storey home, preferably detached, with an easily accessible garage and a garden of their own. They want something that looks traditional, but with the latest statement-making kitchens, bathrooms and good quality fixtures and fittings,” Elaine commented.

“With a home from the New Heritage Collection buyers can enjoy key architectural influences, styles, shapes, colours and textures of the Arts and Crafts movement but with high-specification interiors styled for modern living.”

People who buy an older property can spend thousands of pounds and invest a lot of energy turning it into something that a new home already offers.

“Buying one of our new homes could save you a massive amount of time and money, as behind the traditional exteriors there’s a contemporary interior specification, featuring convivial open plan living spaces, fashionable kitchen designs with floor to ceiling units and central islands, plus bathrooms that are sleek and modern,” Elaine added.

Some of the external features which typify the Arts and Crafts era - and can be seen in varying degrees on the New Heritage Collection homes - include dropped eaves, projecting plinths, bays and other distinctive window styles, often with leaded lights. Other highlights include timber or tiled canopies over doors and windows, supported by decorative gallows brackets, and the use of larch lap boarding, while front door styles and colours also reflect the ‘heritage’ feel.

A three-bedroom home from the New Heritage Collection at Woodlands Grange could be yours for £174,995. The ‘Tetbury’ and ‘Pembroke’ view homes have also been released for sale.
