Deposit free homes at affordable prices in Leicestershire

House hunters in Leicestershire can now buy the home of their dreams at a price they can afford – with the prospect of no deposit to pay.
The extension of the Government’s shared equity HomeBuy Direct scheme means that new customers at Stamford Homes’ Loughborough development can own 100 per cent of their brand new home for just 70 per cent of the price.
By using a recommended mortgage lender under the HBD initiative, Stamford Homes can help buyers save thousands of pounds on their dream home at the Woodgate Court development in Loughborough – where prices currently start from £129,995.
HBD allows eligible customers to buy their new home with only a 70 per cent mortgage. The remaining 30 per cent is met equally by Stamford Homes and the Government through a repayable loan.
Since its launch in February 2009, the scheme has helped dozens of Stamford Homes’ customers buy a dream home across many of the company’s regional developments.
Stamford Homes regional sales and marketing director, Peter Bond said: “News of the scheme’s extension until September this year has already been welcomed – and with the latest announcement of no deposit to pay, we are confident that many more home-hunters will benefit from this popular incentive on a selection of our two and three-bedroom homes.
“It means that more first time buyers and key workers particularly will have an opportunity to select the home of their dreams at a price they can afford.”
