When Noel Tharumanayagam and his wife Niluma Ponweera decided they needed a larger home to accommodate their growing family, they had a clear idea in mind of exactly what they were looking for.

Not only would their new home have to be spacious enough to comfortably accommodate their three young children, but also close to good schools in a quiet, family-friendly residential area within easy commuting distance of work.

They found everything they needed – and much more – at Hinchley Park, Taylor Wimpey’s stunning new homes collection in Hinchley Wood, Surrey. Conveniently situated with all everyday amenities nearby and enjoying an attractive location within tree-lined landscaped grounds, the four-bedroom detached ‘Ferndown’ they purchased certainly ticked all the right boxes.

And with their current home already a Taylor Wimpey house, located in nearby Chessington, they knew all the advantages that choosing one of the leading housebuilder’s brand new homes would bring.

“We wanted to stick with Taylor Wimpey because they know how to build a home properly, and we can rest assured that we can move in and get settled without having to worry about any maintenance or DIY issues,” says Noel (40).

“Hinchley Park was the perfect location for us and as soon as we saw the ‘Ferndown’ showhome, we knew that was the property we were looking for. We had to be quick to reserve the home we wanted because it was such a desirable design, and we were absolutely delighted to get it.”

Hinchley Park offers the peace and tranquillity of traditional village living with a range of excellent local shops, including a continental bakery, a fine foods butcher and a farm shop, on the doorstep.

The development lies just over a mile from the bars, cafés and restaurants of leafy Esher, while superb shopping can also be found in nearby Kingston and Guildford.

For Noel and Niluma, the location of Hinchley Park has the added advantage of being just a short drive from the convenience store in Wandsworth which Noel owns and where they both work.

And with an abundance of respected state and independent schools close at hand – plus a brand new 72-place day nursery planned as part of the development itself – their three children Dillon (8), Rochelle (5) and Samara (3) are undoubtedly well catered for.

Niluma (32) adds: “The location of Hinchley Park was a big part of the decision for us, but we also had to get the house that was right for our requirements.

“Having three kids, we needed to find somewhere larger than our three-bedroom semi. The ‘Ferndown’ is much bigger and the layout is fantastic – we really like the separate dining room and the large kitchen, and there’s plenty of room for all of us to live comfortably.”

By reserving their home before it is completed, Noel and Niluma are able to add their own personalised finishing touches by choosing from the stylish Options range of carpets, flooring, tiles, lighting and kitchen units, appliances and worktops – all expertly fitted ready for them to move in.

A superb selection of homes is available for quick-off-the-mark property-seekers to reserve now at Hinchley Park, including the three-bedroom ‘Trevose’ semi-detached house with spacious kitchen/breakfast room, living/dining room and en-suite master bedroom.

The ‘Trevose’ at Plot 22 is available now for the amazing price of just £429,995, presenting the lucky purchaser with an immediate £20,000 saving on the full listed price of this high-quality home.

To make choosing a home at Hinchley Park even more appealing, Taylor Wimpey offers a range of time and money-saving incentives on selected plots, including help with deposits and legal fees for first-time buyers and assistance with finding a buyer for an existing property for those with a home to sell.
