A&L offers £100 welcome bonus on Premier Current Account

Alliance & Leicester is urging the millions of people who have not switched their account in recent years to review their current account, and vote with their feet if they are not getting a good deal.

From Tuesday 27 April, Alliance & Leicester is giving a welcome cash bonus of £100 on their Premier Current Account.

The account which also offers free annual travel insurance, an interest free overdraft for 12 months plus an interest rate of 0.5 per cent, which is fifty times more interest than many others which pay 0.1 per cent or no interest at all.

Seven in ten (70 per cent) of Britons, or more than 34 million people, have not switched their main current account since 2000, and worryingly, three quarters (74 per cent) say they have no plans to review their current accounts in the near future.
