Santander Reward Bank Account offer coming to an end

Santander is urging consumers to consider switching their existing current account in favour of a better deal! And with the Reward Bank Account that's exactly what they'll get, especially with the current half price offer available until Monday 2 May 2010.

Reward is a current account with added value, giving new and existing Santander bank account customers a market-leading credit interest rate of 5% AER (fixed for a year), 0% interest on the first £100 of any  advance overdraft we agree to and a package of benefits worth over £460 a year.  What's more the account will cost customers just £5 a month for the first three months. 

Benefits include annual travel insurance worth £150, covering two adults and up to four children up to the age of 21, car breakdown cover, identity theft protection, card loss assistance and key protection, which together with the other benefits can save a customer up to £355 per year.

We have been able to tick all boxes by giving new and existing customers real benefits that they will use, value for money and the added incentive of half price fees - £5 a month for the first three months."

The Santander Reward Bank Account offers:

Credit interest rate of 5% AER (fixed) for 12 months on balances up to £2,500 for new and existing bank account customers who credit at least £1,000 each month.

£100 interest free overdraft (subject to status), thereafter an overdraft rate of 12.9% EAR for new and existing bank account customers who credit at least £1,000 each month.
