Taylor Wimpey has introduced a fantastic new incentive to its sought-after Pinnacles development in Woking – giving smart investors the chance to help family or friends on to the property ladder for a generous guaranteed return.

Through Family and Friends Advantage, anyone who contributes a deposit up to 20% of the price of a stylish two-bedroom ‘Croft’ apartment at Pinnacles will receive an attractive return on their investment of 5% per annum for five years.

For example, a £44,000 deposit on the ‘Croft’ apartment at Plot 26, priced just £219,995, would guarantee a return of £2,200 each year and a five-year total of £11,000 – that’s a quarter of the overall investment amount!

Tim Betts, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “This fantastic scheme offers an amazing alternative investment opportunity for anyone who wants their money to work harder than just sitting in their bank account.

“Not only does it provide a unique chance to help family or friends purchase a brand new home they might otherwise struggle to afford, but it also earns the investor a significant guaranteed return in the process.”

Family and Friends Advantage is being supported by a variety of mortgage lenders, including the Halifax, which is offering an exclusive range of fixed and tracker mortgages with an 80% loan-to-value rate to Taylor Wimpey customers. This comes with an added financial benefit of refunding the valuation fee direct to the purchaser.

The initiative is available on selected apartments at Pinnacles, with prices starting at only £219,995. Each two-bedroom ‘Croft’ apartment benefits from a spacious lounge/dining room and open plan kitchen, an en-suite master bedroom, a good-sized second bedroom and a bathroom off the internal entrance hallway, with allocated parking located outside and private balconies to selected plots.

Those in search of the ultimate in space and luxury, meanwhile, can still reserve the unique two-bedroom ‘Croft’ penthouse, priced £345,995, and comprising more than 1,000 sq ft of accommodation boasting spectacular views over the landscaped, tree-lined grounds.

All ‘Croft’ apartments are also finished to an excellent standard specification, including a secure audio entry system, double glazing, individually designed Symphony kitchens with integrated appliances, AEG oven, hob and stainless steel hood, and Pilkington ceramic tiles in the kitchens and bathrooms.

Pinnacles is a exclusive, gated development set in the beautiful grounds of St Peter’s Convent in Maybury Hill, and comprises just seven four-bedroom homes, one coach house and a selection of one and two-bedroom apartments.

Enjoying an enviable location on the edge of picturesque open countryside, the development is also within easy reach of central London, and Woking’s railway station is less than a mile from the new homes, offering frequent and fast services to Waterloo, while the M25, M3 and A3 are all close by and Heathrow Airport is just a short drive away.

Woking itself boasts a wealth of choice for shopping, entertainment and leisure, with two modern shopping centres, a multi-screen cinema, the New Victoria Theatre, first-class sporting facilities and a multitude of restaurants, pubs and bars.
