Roary the Racing Car roarrrrs into Mercedes-Benz World
Roary the Racing Car and his mechanic, Big Chris, will be racing into Weybridge over bank holiday weekend visiting Mercedes-Benz World from 29th – 31st May. Families can experience fantastic fun including arts and crafts, screenings of the TV show and a soft play area.
Younger visitors to the Roary Zone will also receive a FREE Roary booklet, full of fun games and tasks and they will get a chance to meet Roary and Big Chris in person!

While the youngsters enjoy meeting Roary, the bigger kids can enjoy another kind of racing car. On Sunday 30th May, guests will be able to watch the Turkish Grand Prix on the big screen. And as part of the Grand Prix Sunday program of events, there will be high octane passenger hot laps available for just £15 in a range of 6.2 litre, V8 powered Mercedes AMG performance cars. Anyone over 5 yrs can take part.
Mercedes-Benz World has a number of additional attractions; Passenger Rides on the circuits, skid pan or on the 10 acres of off-road terrain, plus individual Driving Experiences for both adults, as well as all children over 1.5 metres tall (prices start from £30). ‘Watch’ is a luxury cinema showing Mercedes-Benz films, ‘Build’ – a 3D simulator ride through the manufacture of a Mercedes, plus the biggest range of classic and current Mercedes-Benz models in the UK, from the earliest inventions to the latest innovations.
The Roary Zone is open from 10am to 4pm each day over the bank holiday weekend. Admission to Mercedes-Benz World and the Roary Zone is free. Driving experiences start from £30.
Roary the Racing Car is aimed at children aged from 2 - 6 years old. The show is a stunning blend of stop-frame animation and CGI and follows the adventures of a young racing car, Roary who is a bright red, cheeky and energetic single seater. Set in and around Silver Hatch and featuring the voices of Sir Stirling Moss as the narrator, and Peter Kay as Big Chris, the stories explore Roary’s relationships with his amazing group of racing car friends and Big Chris, the karaoke loving mechanic.
