Ryanair yesterday welcomed passengers on board its inaugural flights from London Stansted to Figari in Corsica and Fez in Morocco and celebrated Ryanair’s inaugural flight to Fuerteventura today.

Ryanair’s Laura McCormack said:

“Ryanair is delighted to welcome passengers on board its new service from London Stansted to Figari (Corsica), Fez (Morocco) and Fuerteventura (Canary Islands). Passengers in London Stansted can take advantage of Ryanair’s guaranteed lowest fares and no fuel surcharges and take a break from only £6 one way inclusive of taxes.

“Fly to Figari in the south of Corsica with 1,000 kilometers of coastline, more than 200 beaches and breathtaking mountainous scenery. While there make sure you try some Corsican olive oil before leaving this stunning island!

“Fly to Fez in Northern Morocco where you can explore some of the best religious and cultural landmarks in the country: The Karaouiyne Mosque, the Bou Inania Medersa and the Attarine Medersa. A stay in Fez is not complete without sampling the local cuisine of tajine, couscous, or Khliaa, a dried meat.

“Fly to Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands, a fantastic holiday destination, big on beaches and turquoise waters that offer an amazing variety of water sports, and most importantly sunshine!

“To celebrate the launch of these new routes from London Stansted, Ryanair is releasing 1 million 25% off seats for travel in mid May and June on over 500 Ryanair routes throughout Europe on selected routes for travel across our European network.  These can be booked at ryanair.com before midnight Thursday 6th May. Seats on the new routes from London Stansted to Figari and Fez start at £6 and Fuerteventura starts at £36.99 one way inclusive of taxes”.
