If you are seeking a contemporary Parisian retreat with a difference look no further than Hotel Square. This trendsetting 22 room boutique hotel is an inspiring hideaway for those visiting the French capital appealing to art lovers, gourmet fanatics and businessmen alike.

Located just a stone’s throw away from many of the city’s cultural attractions the spoiling accommodation affords guests an array of experiences that expand the imagination, tickle the taste-buds and even help seal that business deal.

ART
Guests with a creative flair will appreciate the strong modern art and design influences running throughout the property. From the ornate banisters to the individual geometric headboards and door handles every aspect of the hotel has been designed with art in mind by owner Patrick Derderian. The impressive atrium styled lobby functions as a private exhibition space including an 18 metre high gallery that is flooded with natural light. This makes it the ideal venue for displaying abstract wall hangings by the artist Piere Célice (pierre-celice.com) whose lithographic works can also be found in the Tate Collection.

For anyone wishing to escape to Paris for an art themed mini-break, Hotel Square is currently offering a special Weekend Rate of €260 per room per night – a saving of €170 based on two sharing a Square Room with continental breakfast, late check out at 4pm and bicycles at guests’ disposal to explore the city. The special offer is available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights from 20th June 2010*.

FOOD
For food lovers the hotel’s Zebra Square restaurant provides a trendy and refined culinary experience. Renowned Head Chef Thierry Burlot has created a flavorsome and playful menu blending seasonal produce to generate a taste and texture sensation. The restaurant’s fresh and organic design with bright yellow feature walls complements the dishes and evokes an air of sophistication.

Guests wanting to learn some culinary skills for themselves can also visit the nearby École de Cuisine Alain Ducasse on Rue de Ranelagh. The school, owned by French star chef Alain Ducasse, offers daily themed cookery classes and wine tasting lessons that allow amateur chefs to learn an array of gastronomic skills.
