Last chance for HomeBuy Direct in Leicestershire

Home hunters should act now if they want take advantage of the Government’s popular HomeBuy Direct shared equity scheme at Stamford Homes’ Leicestershire developments.
The incentive – which allows customers to own 100 per cent of their new home but for just 70 per cent of the price – draws to a close in September 2010.
HBD reservations are now being taken on selected homes at the Ashby Heights and Woodgate Court developments in Coalville and Loughborough.
The incentive has proved hugely popular with buyers across the board, and particularly with first time buyers and key workers.
The shared equity scheme allows customers to own 100 per cent of their brand new home for just 70 per cent of the price – giving them the opportunity they might have not otherwise had to own their dream home.
The remaining 30 per cent is met equally by Stamford Homes and the Government through a repayable loan, interest free for five years.
Stamford Homes marketing manager Juliana Russell, said: “We have already seen a high number of reservations through the HomeBuy Direct scheme, which gives first time buyers, key workers or people needing to upsize the opportunity select the home of their dreams at a price they can afford.
“However, time is running out for customers who want to take advantage of this scheme, as we are now taking the final reservations on homes eligible under the HBD scheme.”
Prices for new homes at Coalville currently start from £149,995 for a three-bedroom semi-detached home, while a two-bedroom coach house in Loughborough currently starts from £129,995. For details on HBD in Leicestershire visit the website at: stamford-homes.co.uk
