Aspiring homeowners struggling to raise a significant deposit for their first home have an amazing opportunity to step on to the property ladder at Taylor Wimpey’s The Edge development of new flats in Edgware.

First-time buyers can now double their deposits up to 10% of the purchase price of the final two homes at this fast-selling development of apartments for sale in Edgware, thanks to the leading housebuilder’s Deposit Match scheme.

For example, a purchaser who can put down £22,750 on the stylish two-bedroom, fourth-floor apartment at Plot 221, priced £227,500, will receive the same amount again in the form of an interest-free, 10-year loan.

Tony Woodman, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Deposit Match has been designed to give a leg-up to first-time buyers who might otherwise need to save for years to purchase their first property in Edgware.

“This incredible initiative gives purchasers access to a wider range of attractive mortgage deals, more competitive interest rates and lower monthly payments – and means they can realise their dreams of home ownership much sooner than they thought.

“But with only two apartments in Edgware remaining for sale at The Edge, would-be buyers are advised to be quick if they want to take advantage.”

The final duo of homes comprises a one-bedroom apartment at Plot 174, priced just £182,950, and a two-bedroom apartment at Plots 221 with en-suite master bedroom, priced only £227,500.

Plot 221 benefits from a spacious lounge/dining room and open-plan kitchen, with the bedrooms, main bathroom and handy storage closet located off the private entrance hallway.

Apartments also come with stylish fitted kitchen units and worktops, including integrated oven, hob and hood, and an allocated parking space.

Edgware is a vibrant and stylish location for couples and individuals of all ages, surrounded by trendy cafes, bars and restaurants, boutiques, art and bookshops and an array of sports and fitness facilities. In addition to the Broadwalk Shopping Centre, the department stores of Brent Cross are just three miles away.

The Edge is ideally located for those in search of new build flats in Edgware, and provides an appealing alternative for buyers looking for flats in Stanmore, apartments in Mill Hill and flats for sale in Brent Cross.

For commuters, frequent bus services connect homes with Edgware tube and bus stations, a mile away, while the A5 provides a direct route to Marble Arch.

First-time buyers can find out more about Deposit Match at The Edge by visiting the Sales Centre, located off Burnt Oak Broadway, Edgware, and open Tuesday to Sunday 10am to 5.30 pm and Mondays 10am to 2pm.
