Toshiba Satellite T210 and T230 - Ultraportable, thin and light

Toshiba have introduced the thinnest Satellite laptops yet: the 29.5cm (11.6'') Satellite T210 and the 33.8cm (13.3'') Satellite T230 have a very slim profile, just 17.6mm tall at the front. The Satellite T210 and T230 offer an appealing design and a well-balanced feature set that serves users' everyday computing needs. The devices will be available during the second quarter of 2010 throughout Europe and Africa.

Thin and light yet with a long battery life
Powered by Intel's latest Low Voltage processors the new laptops are positoned between netbooks, which are optimised for content consumption, and full performing laptops. The battery life of up to 8.5 hours with a 6 cell battery provides enough power for all-day computing without the need to recharge while on the go. And last but not least the new models are really light, their weight starting at only 1.48kg (Satellite T210) and 1.75kg (Satellite T230) respectively. A 3D accelerator sensor protects data stored on the hard disk drive in case of shocks and drops.

Appealing, slim design for style conscious users
The new Satellite T Series machines feature a design that’s evolved from previous models. With Precious Black, Luxe White Pearl or Iron Red Metallic finishes, a sleek combination of materials, textures and contours to underline the slim appearance of these laptops. Their innovative design allows the battery to be integrated flush to the unit’s base. A silver coloured full-size keyboard with tile caps and a large multi-touch pad with chrome buttons embedded into the textured palm rest provide excellent usability.

Content exchange made easy
On top of Toshiba's acknowledged quality, trend-setting designs, and high usability the new Satellite laptops come with a suite of extras that make it easier for customers to manage and enjoy their digital life. Toshiba Media Controller lets users easily stream content from the media library on their laptop across connected DLNA capable devices. Broad connectivity spanning WLAN (802.11 b/g/n), USB 2.0, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, an HDMI slot, Fast Ethernet LAN support and a Multi-Card Reader facilitates exchange of content within a network. Toshiba Life Space, featuring Toshiba Bulletin Board and ReelTime, redefines how users organize their digital day and find their files.
